Piers Morgan asks Bill Clinton who will make the better president: Hillary or Chelsea

Coming up this evening at 9, Piers Morgan sits down with one of the only five living presidents, as he's joined by Bill Clinton for an insightful and engaging primetime interview.

Despite the fact that the former commander-in-chief left the White House more than a dozen years ago, there are many that suspect the surname Clinton will once again adorn a desk within 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. The question posed to Bill Clinton today: which of his two favorite ladies is the more likely future candidate?

"Who do you think might make the better president," Morgan asks. "Your wife or your daughter?"

Choosing his words carefully, and with his only child looking on with a smile, the nation's 42nd president answers:

"Day after tomorrow - my wife because she’s had more experience. Over the long run, Chelsea [Clinton.] She knows more than we do about everything," he says, smiling. "There was a time in her childhood when I thought maybe she thought she did when she didn't. Now, it’s highly embarrassing because she in fact does. So, I feel like I’m going to school every day when we have conversations."

View the above clip for more from the host and his guest – including why the former first lady appears, in Morgan's words, "completely reinvigorated." And, for the full interview watch "Piers Morgan Live" on CNN at 9.

The best is where Clinton mentions Colorado in his support of Gun Control and public support for gun control. Hey Bill, there was an election in CO, you may have heard of it. 2 standing state senators recalled? No? Well, ok

It's a bit more complicated than that. Recall campaigns depend largely on who is able to mobilize their base most effectively, not on popular opinion about a particular issue.
The recall did not repeal any laws. And btw, what exactly is wrong with regulations restricting the size of a magazines and mandating background checks for private and online sales?

And the election system itself is based on mobilization. Nobody carries people to the voting booths, fills out their signature on the registration form for them, gives them money to support a candidate, etc. you have the lowest forms of advocacy, voting being one of them, and you have the higher forms like this recall effort or running for office yourself. When Bloomberg throws an anti-gun rally and nobody shows up except pro-gunners and you have match after match on state capitals in support of gun rights, that shows low mobilization for anti-gun agendas. You don't mobilize, you don't win. You take the more passive route and only vote for what you're handed by somebody else, you don't win. As for your question, you're going to have to provide an against not having them, as this country works on negative rights not positive rights. I'd be interested though if you had a good argument.

Thank you Piers for this interview with Bill Clinton. I could listen to Clinton for hours. In fact, I wish you would interview him every 3 months, indefinitely, just so I can hear sane, intelligent, interesting ideas and commentary regarding U.S. and world affairs. Now, I feel better. Everything else I have heard for the past several months on many news stations is just crap compared to what I just heard from Clinton. Clinton presented the level of consciousness I expect from leaders. Clinton should tutor the media, whose PRIVILEGE it is to keep us informed, on how to present fair, informed, uncompromising information to the public. It would help us, in the public, tremendously to make good decisions and not become so polarized. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
