"Piers Morgan Live, Rewind": Warren Buffett plays and sings Frank Sinatra on the ukulele and empties his wallet

Whether you fell asleep early, stayed out too late, or simply want to watch it again, we realize it's not always possible to get your entire "Piers Morgan Live" fix from television. As an answer to this, we offer the below labor of love – "Piers Morgan Live, Rewind" – dedicated and designed to getting you caught up and connected to the conversation.

  • Warren Buffett: “I’ve lived the life that's full and traveled each and every highway”

On Tuesday evening Piers Morgan sealed a deal that had been a long time in the making. Several months back, a hand shake with Howard G. Buffett laid the groundwork for a forthcoming interview with three generations of Buffett men. Ten months later, the pledge came to fruition as Howard G. Buffett returned to "Piers Morgan Live," this time accompanied by his dad Warren Buffett, and his son Howard Warren Buffett.

As the "Three Generations of Buffett" interview concluded after a lively hour, the family patriarch treated the host to a musical performance for the ages, as casually sang Frank Sinatara’s “My Way” while strumming along on a ukulele.

Entertained by the family dynamic, Morgan asked about the regularity of such an event:

“You don't do this kind of interview very often, Warren. How have you enjoyed the last hour?”

The world-famous billionaire found his time with Morgan to have been a worthwhile investment:

“I've enjoyed it a lot. I always enjoy being with these [guys]. I've enjoyed this and I think maybe we can show up at the Grammy's, the two of us,” he said, referencing Morgan's "My Way" back-up efforts.

  • Warren Buffett and the contents of his wallet

When Piers Morgan asked the second richest man in the world what he carries in his wallet, Warren Buffett casually reached into his back pocket and pulled out a 20-year-old bill-fold.

“Here's my American Express card from 1964,” he said proudly.

Baffled by the fact that he still has the original, green AmEx, Morgan followed up:

"That's the one you've have the whole time?"

Referencing an earlier portion of the primetime interview, during which point the 83-year-old mogul produced his wireless mobile device, Buffett was quick with a quip:

“Yes, well it goes with my cellphone,” he said, referring to his vintage Nokia flip phone.

The billionaire proceeded to pull out family pictures, more credit cards, and a wad of hundred dollar bills which he admitted was “more than usual.”

Watch the clip for more of Morgan's interview with Warren Buffett, his son, and his grandson, and for an honest and intimate look inside the family's passion for charity and farming, check out Howard G. Buffett's new book, "40 Chances: Finding Hope in a Hungry World."

Watching Warren Buffett on your show (and other shows recently) made be realize that he is the grandfather of America in his time. His humility and lack of "air" makes me think we should be electing our Presidents from Nebraska. Maybe there is something in the corn out there that creates great Americans, he certainly is a national treasure in troubled times.
