READ about Piers Morgan's long career in journalism here.
Coming up this evening at 9, Piers Morgan welcomes actress and activist Eva Longoria to join him in studio for a face to face, primetime interview.
Joined by Howard Buffett, a man to whom she's presenting Auburn University's International Quality of Life award, the former "Desperate Housewives" star and her fellow guest speak passionately about helping to feed the hungry, and trying to raise the living wage.
However, Longoria also possesses a passion for politics, as evidenced by her having served as the co-chair of Barack Obama's recent national re-election campaign.
Sitting across from the "Piers Morgan Live" host, the 38-year-old Texas native looks ahead to 2016, fielding questions about party lines as compared to blood lines.
"How would you feel if we had a Latino Hispanic president, who happened to be, say Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio, so the other side of the divide," proposes Morgan. "Would you be conflicted there?"
The youngest of four daughters born to Mexican Americans, Longoria quickly reminds the host that her allegiances are based on ideals much deeper than simply skin color:
"I don't vote for people because of their race, I vote for people because of the issues, and where they stand on the issues."
While Morgan looks to draw a comparison to the pride felt within the African-American community following Obama's election, Longoria maintains her position:
"It depends on, like I said, where they stand," when asked if a Cruz or Rubio victory would resonate with her as a Latina. "Same reason I wouldn't vote for [Sarah] Palin because she was a woman. Nor would I have been proud to go 'ya!' I don't agree with where she stands on that, so I wouldn't necessarily just be proud in that moment because it was a Hispanic."
Watch the clips as Longoria answers questions about her own political aspirations, and for the full episode of "Piers Morgan Live," watch CNN at 9.

Do you have any idea how ignorant you and the rest of CNN look continually trashing a major health care delivery improvement that should have been done decades ago–over a temporarily glitchy sign-up website?
Do you know how ignorant you look thinking Obamacare is helping anyone?
No one believes this crap. If coloreds voted on issues why is it that every minority district is Democratic?
Why do Democrats lie so much?
Why is Obama such a liar?
