Deepak Chopra on Jay Leno's next chapter: "He has to continue"

On the heels of the final taping of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", and roughly two hours prior to the airing of comedian's final show as host, "Piers Morgan Live" pondered the next chapter in Leno's historic career.

With Deepak Chopra joining his show for a live interview, Piers Morgan asked the mind-body healing pioneer to share his advice for the man that kept his program atop the ratings for more than two decades.

"He has to continue," said Chopra. "If he now retires and goes to Florida he'll ultimately end up languishing in the nursing home."

The author of "Timeless You: The Biology of Youth & the Wisdom of Experience," Chopra suggested that Leno has but only one path to follow:

"Jay Leno has to take it to the next step. And he has the opportunity," he declared. "He's built his career, and he should go on the road and continue what he's doing and even go to a higher level of expression. I think that's the only way."

i was shocked by dr. chopra's reaction to woody allen on piers morgan. he does not know the truth, nor i, but to take that stand and say what that man should do made him sound like he thought he was God not human. i hope this message is passed on to him as i have no email for him.
