Ezekiel Emanuel on his brother Rahm's polar plunge: "I always knew he was crazy"

While the legendary series may suggest that "father" knows best, in a household of three ambitious boys, each of whom who would aspire to immensely successful careers, it's actually the brothers that likely know one another better than anyone.

Such was the case within the Emanuels of Illinois – Rahm, Ezekiel, and Ari – a polarizing politician, brilliant scholar, and groundbreaking talent agent respectively. So, when the mayor of Chicago opted to throw caution, and his health, to the wind, it came as little surprise that his medically astute brother would have an opinion.

"I always knew he was crazy, it seems nuts to me," Ezekiel told Piers Morgan Tuesday evening, referencing his younger brother's recent "polar plunge" alongside Jimmy Fallon and into a frigid Lake Michigan.

Fallon had agreed to join the Windy City leader in exchange for the mayor's appearance on "The Tonight Show." But despite Rahm risking life and limb alongside the NBC host, Ezekiel remains focused moreso on the medical mishaps of another Chicagoan, President Barack Obama.

Author of "Reinventing American Health Care", a writing that is centered around the Affordable Care Act, Emanuel admits that "Obamacare" lacked a certain amount of execution upon its arrival. Nonetheless, the man who holds a joint appointment at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and the Wharton School feels that in the long run, "Obamacare" will do the president, and the nation, proud.

"The exchanges were badly executed and that has given the brand a slightly bad tint. My hope is that over the next year, certainly two years, they really improve dramatically and it becomes a pleasure to shop for insurance giving you choices and all the information you need," he told Morgan. "I think that would change a lot of people's attitude towards the health care reform bill."

Curious why Piers would choose, of all possible foreign affairs experts, to bring on noted bigot and "academic" Stephen Walt. At least he didn't blame the Ukraine crisis on Israel, or at least, he hasn't yet.

Be careful Chicago Polar Plunge! You have a wolf in sheep's clothing named Amanda Walsh. I find it disgusting that a person, who thinks calling individuals with special needs "retards" is amusing and even cyber bullies families of children with autism, is pretending to care about this cause! She and her family have been taunting children with autism for years and she thinks these kinds of children "are ugly, disgusting retards." I am posting this because bullying children with special needs is repugnant and uncivilized, and families with special needs children need to be aware of her bullying and antisocial behavior.
