Politics, Prison, Partisanship, and Piety – A collection of thought-provoking moments from "Piers Morgan Live"

During the course of more than 39 groundbreaking months inside a trademark blue-green studio, Piers Morgan welcomed a diverse combination of headline-grabbing newsmakers, influential religious leaders and political power players.

But as multi-faceted as was his collection of guests, the host's goals always reflected a singular approach: ask thought-provoking questions, tell great stories and share unique perspective.

As such, CNN's 9 p.m. primetime hour regularly made viewers think, occasionally made guests cry and always made for good television.

Now, in honor of his final hours anchoring the show as only he could, it is with great pride and pleasure that we share some of Piers Morgan's most iconic and symbolic interviews.

April 24th, 2012 – The Dalai Lama loves George W. Bush

September 17th, 2013 – Rick Warren: "Matthew ... was afraid of pain"

February 21st, 2012 – Chris Christie on Warren Buffett: "Write a check
and shut up"

July 15th, 2013 – Rachel Jeantel stays cool: "My parents taught me better"

June 11th, 2012 – Jesse Ventura, "Democrips" and "Rebloodicans"

July 24th, 2012 – Moore won't be back on "these damn TV shows"

March 30th, 2012 – Robert Zimmerman: "George showed restraint"

September 29th, 2011 – Damien Echols, WM3: No sunlight for a decade

September 25th, 2013 – Bill Clinton does his best Bono

July 27th, 2012 – Romney: "When you attack success you have less"

Of the above interviews, was there one you found to be particularly insightful or though-provoking?

And to see more of Piers Morgan's most memorable conversations, check out a collection dedicated to entertainment icons, as well as a series of the program's most explosive moments.

Piers Morgan's farewell speech was right-on. I would hope we Americans would heed what he is saying. We have had the biggest snow job put over on us by the NRA. America has become a violent country where one is afraid to venture out of the safety of the home. Piers, don't give up trying to make us Americans make our country a safer and happier place!

Piers, you got canned because of your continued anti gun commentary. It was daily and never ending. There are 40, 000 troops massed on the Ukranian border. That will never happen here. When Putin rolls into Kiev who do you think will come to the rescue? The rest of Europe is dissarmed along with Jolly Old England. Take you cricket bat and go home. We'll be practicing at the range, call us when u need us.

Actually, that was a quite intelligent post. It seems that Piers missed a big point in gun control that Nick hit home: in areas with more gun control, more high crime is committed, not because there need to be more restrictions, but because people cannot defend themselves. Besides, creating restrictions does not ensure a thug will follow them. In fact, they can easily attain a weapon from the Black Market. I wish Piers the best, but I hope he gets his facts straight on guns soon. Guns do not kill people: people with guns kill people. We need to make sure guns go in the hands of the good guys, and adding restrictions will only take that away.

Piers, you are wrong. Your time would have been better spent talking about the lack of needed mental health care in the United States, rather than talking about guns. Guns don't kill people Piers, the people who have cried out for help and were not heard are the ones killing people. Too bad you chose that subject, you wasted your last night. Well at least it's your last night, and we will not be inflicted with your empty rants.

I think contrary to most opinion I have read (from many who are uninformed) and categorically state that Piers Morgan is excellent, has done an excellent job and is one of the best interviewers I have heard. On par with the equally excellent Anderson Cooper, I think Piers Morgan has tried to contribute some self questioning to the American public. Against mindless and self centred people like the leader of NRA Piers Morgan has tried to infuse reason within the American populace. The fact that he left CNN is a sad reflection on the American society rather than Piers Morgan. Well done Piers and thank you for your amazing input to the American and Canadian public.

PEACE OUT for now, Piers. You'll be back in some new iteration with a valuable point of view.
I shall sorely miss your intellect; the shrewd conversations (except for Donald Trump); your presence as a much-needed outspoken advocate for gun control; and yes even your truculence.
Move ahead with your own production.

Farewell, Piers. Your nightly program was the only thing truly worth watching on CNN – or any other US network, for that matter.

Your courageous and intelligent criticism of the US's imbedded gun culture resonated with folks around the world. But alas, courageous and intelligent criticism is no match for the $ stranglehold that the NRA gun lobby has on so many cowardly politicians. If the President of the United States has no influence on issue, there will clearly be no resolution to the problem. It will only get worse. So be it.

Look forward to seeing you again on my BBC cable channel.

Scotland is definitely a definitely stunning nation, and also every year it is actually gone to by groups of visitors coming from the United States, France, as well as also Italy or Spain. Rarely any person taking leave of absence in July, August or September will certainly presume of Scotland. Maybe it is excellent to believe concerning it straight currently, when the value of the pound is falling, and hence our experts will spend much less for a holiday in Scotland? Glen Affric in very early spring Why is it worth it? Scotland is largely a fantastic landscape in the north of the nation. In Scotland, I have actually presently been capable to see tapes, dolphins or also deer. However Scotland is also a traditionally appealing land (that viewed Brave Heart?), Where you can go to stunning rock castles (Edinburgh, Stirling, Linlithgow, Eilean Donan). The capital itself, the magnificent Edinburgh, also is worthy of attention, specifically throughout the summer season events. nation Scotland, scottish Scotland, application Scotland, conservative Scotland, information Scotland, scotland Scotland, our team Scotland, edinburgh Scotland, child Scotland, creed Scotland, chart Scotland, iona Scotland, food selection Scotland, travel Scotland, data Scotland, history Scotland, vehicle Scotland, ship Scotland, uk Scotland, train Scotland, celtic Scotland, glasgow Scotland, shetland Scotland, society Scotland, tay Scotland, bus Scotland, headlines Scotland, education Scotland, bit Scotland, navigation Scotland, cookie Scotland, covid Scotland, sporting activity Scotland, access Scotland, online videos Scotland, highland video games Scotland, neighborhood Scotland, golf Scotland, scots Scotland, meals Scotland, whisky Scotland, spending plan Scotland, visitscotland Scotland, museum Scotland, bulletin Scotland, arbroath Scotland, heck Scotland, roadway Scotland, distilleries Scotland, street andrews Scotland, beverage Scotland, see scotland Scotland, europe Scotland, castles Scotland, future Scotland, encounter Scotland, blog Scotland, dundee Scotland, driving Scotland, sports Scotland, covid-Scotland9 Scotland, transportation Scotland. Edinburgh – Some suggestions for visiting Scotland Travel in Scotland ought to certainly start along with its funding. Edinburgh is actually a beautiful middle ages a town with symbolic rock structures. From the major street, the so-called The Royal Mile connecting the former royal palace with the Queen’s summertime royal residence (Palace of Holyroodhouse) bolts a system of fascinating little streets (the supposed shut), developing a puzzle through which it is truly worth acquiring shed. It takes approximately two days to explore Edinburgh, however you may prolong this time up to 4. When it comes to a brief see to Scotland, you can easily also confine on your own to Edinburgh just, investing 1 day on a big salami by bus in the Scottish plateaus (nearly every travel bureau in the financing supplies it). This way, at the very least for a minute we will really feel the atmosphere of a real property of hazes. An even far better tip is actually to rent out an auto for someday and also take place a private trip (the system and also attributes of the managed trips perform certainly not always match every person). Such a self-guided excursion is going to perhaps take our team a minimum of ten hours. For a somewhat longer experience (albeit still restricted to just a couple of days) from Edinburgh, I would certainly recommend to attack in two directions: Isle of Arran or Loch Lomond. Arran is actually called Scotland in baby. Spending pair of or 3 days on the isle, our team can easily take pleasure in the beauty of the west coastline, loosen up on the coastline, climb up the highest peak of the island– Goat Fell, as properly as marvel at the verdant mountains and also take pleasure in the space. Loch Lomond is among Scotland’s pair of national parks, a beautiful lake bordered by rainforests as well as hills. On the means, you may additionally go to Stirling Castle. There is actually a straight learn from Glasgow in both paths. country Scotland, scottish Scotland, application Scotland, conservative Scotland, relevant information Scotland, scotland Scotland, our company Scotland, edinburgh Scotland, youngster Scotland, cult Scotland, map Scotland, iona Scotland, food selection Scotland, traveling Scotland, data Scotland, background Scotland, automobile Scotland, ship Scotland, uk Scotland, train Scotland, celtic Scotland, glasgow Scotland, shetland Scotland, culture Scotland, tay Scotland, bus Scotland, updates Scotland, education Scotland, little bit Scotland, navigating Scotland, biscuit Scotland, covid Scotland, sporting activity Scotland, ease of access Scotland, video recordings Scotland, highland activities Scotland, community Scotland, golf Scotland, scots Scotland, meals Scotland, whisky Scotland, spending plan Scotland, visitscotland Scotland, gallery Scotland, email list Scotland, arbroath Scotland, heck Scotland, road Scotland, distilleries Scotland, st andrews Scotland, beverage Scotland, browse through scotland Scotland, europe Scotland, castles Scotland, future Scotland, experience Scotland, blog post Scotland, dundee Scotland, steering Scotland, sports Scotland, covid-Scotland9 Scotland, transport Scotland. Scotland, like the entire of Great Britain, is actually certainly not one of the most inexpensive destinations. In add-on, in Scotland the tent can easily be actually specified up actually anywhere, thus vacationers may additionally rest in the crazy. The most renowned as well as one of the very most gorgeous hiking routes in Europe is the so-called West Highland Way. Longer travel? How about north along the west shore and after that back to the quieter, albeit much less stunning east? A lot of visitors in Glasgow, takes a learn to Mallaig (sometimes checking out Glencoe or even Fort William en route) after that gos to Isle of Skye (one of the most gorgeous of the Scottish isles), then scalp along the coast in the direction of Ullapool, regarding Durness, en route back checking out Inverness, Fort Augustus (Loch Ness), Aberdeen as well as Cairngorms National Park, as well as ultimately Street Andrews. Is it possible by buses and also learns? Certainly it is actually possible, yet you will definitely skip a lot, so it is better to rent out a car for a minimum of component of the trip. As well as don’t be actually deceived through the tourist catch of Loch Ness– actually, there are actually a lot of so much more beautiful spots throughout Scotland nation Scotland, scottish Scotland, app Scotland, conservative Scotland, relevant information Scotland, scotland Scotland, our team Scotland, edinburgh Scotland, child Scotland, creed Scotland, chart Scotland, iona Scotland, menu Scotland, travel Scotland, data Scotland, record Scotland, cars and truck Scotland, ship Scotland, uk Scotland, learn Scotland, celtic Scotland, glasgow Scotland, shetland Scotland, lifestyle Scotland, tay Scotland, bus Scotland, news Scotland, education Scotland, bit Scotland, navigating Scotland, biscuit Scotland, covid Scotland, sporting activity Scotland, access Scotland, video clips Scotland, highland activities Scotland, area Scotland, golf Scotland, scots Scotland, food items Scotland, whisky Scotland, budget plan Scotland, visitscotland Scotland, museum Scotland, email list Scotland, arbroath Scotland, hell Scotland, road Scotland, distilleries Scotland, st andrews Scotland, beverage Scotland, check out scotland Scotland, europe Scotland, castles Scotland, potential Scotland, take in Scotland, blog site Scotland, dundee Scotland, steering Scotland, sports Scotland, transport Scotland Glenelg The climate may be irregular. I bear in mind seeing Scotland for the first time by the end of April. It was actually actually come Scotland, the sunshine was heating up, while in Scotland it was actually still winter across. The Highlands were actually still dealt with in snowfall in numerous areas, and also in Edinburgh it was piercingly storm. Of course, it turned out immediately that I hadn’t packed the right traits. I was actually planning to keep in the metropolitan area, however also ballet apartments, flipflops, thin blouses as well as ornamental jackets drop off in spring. When journeying in Scotland, first of all great, water resistant, sporting activities footwear. Will certainly additionally happen in helpful, in some cases it is actually also worth including a slim scarf, a sports hat and sporting activities handwear covers to the backpack (spring as well as fall). In wintertime, I advise steering clear of Scotland from a range. In the case of a low-budget excursion, sleeping in a tent or even keep just in hotels (cost regarding PLN 80 per evening)., Whiskey, visit at minimum one distillery as well as instruction fish and also potato chips with white vinegar at least when. I wish that using this message I urged my pals (:-RRB-) but also unfamiliar people to travel to Scotland. It is actually really worth a hundred times! I invite you to go to, so I am still below.
