After a 17 season run with the Emmy Award-winning "The Montel Williams Show," the 55-year-old has plenty of insight into television interview programs, and thinks the host of "Piers Morgan Tonight" is certainly holding his own:
"Piers is great. The thing's about him, even though I was given kind of a parameter where the interview was going to be, you know, he asked questions that catch you over there, or rather over there, or I didn't think it would go there, so it was kind of cool," remarked Williams. FULL POST

Currently gearing up for his brand new comedy show, "Running on Empty!," Black explains why he routinely returns to "Piers Morgan Tonight":
"I'm amazed that anyone is interested in what I have to say. So, the opportunity for me to just yack, is good," insists Black. "Otherwise, I'm sitting at home doing my own interview."
During the chat, this prolific funny-man, actor, and standup explains why Morgan should continue hosting his show, and offers a surprise prediction, for the upcoming Republican nomination.

Following his interview with Piers Morgan earlier today (airing tonight, 9pm ET/PT), we talked to Ricky Gervais of HBO's "Life's Too Short" in the green room.
During the chat, the actor and comedian dished on everything from Morgan's acumen as a host, Twitter, and why he doesn't drink alcohol during early afternoon interviews:
"I'm bad enough when I'm sober that I may say the wrong thing," confesses Gervais. "I try not to drink when I'm working, when I'm in public."

Rapper and actor 50 Cent is a guest on "Piers Morgan Tonight" Monday night, 50 (Curtis Jackson) and Piers Morgan talked about his turbulent childhood, his political beliefs and more. After the interview we talked to 50 Cent in a green room interview. Piers admitted working out every day to "In Da Club" – what does 50 think? "It's a gift and a curse," he said. When your first song is that good, is that effective, you're kind of up against that first body of work for the rest of your career."

Kelsey Grammer's emotional interview with Piers Morgan airs tonight at 9pmET/PT. We caught up with Grammer after the interview in the green room to talk about his new show "Boss," which premieres October 21 on Starz. "There's some naughtiness in it," says Grammer. "I do say some dirty words, and there's an occasional boob."

Adam Levine will be a guest on "Piers Morgan Tonight" tonight, and the Maroon 5 singer talks about love, career and reveals a hidden talent. After the interview we caught up with Levine. Both he and Piers Morgan are also judges on NBC talent shows – Morgan on "America's Got Talent" and Levine on "The Voice" – and Levine compared the two. "It's very different, it's much more like a cool freak show," he said. "There's so many different things, there's not just singing."
Bill Maher was the guest on "Piers Morgan Tonight" Monday, and it re-airs tonight, 9pmET/PT (along with a new interview of Morgan Freeman). We caught up with Maher after the interview, and wondered if there's a "new rule" he can give to Piers Morgan, CNN host. "Lose the accent, no one is buying that accent," said Maher. "Yes, it was instrumental in getting the job, something different, that set him apart from everybody else, but we all know he's from Brooklyn."

Following their interview with Piers Morgan (that airs tonight, 9pmET/PT), we caught up with Ray Romano, Scott Bakula and Andre Braugher for a green room Q&A. Romano joked about how their show, "Men of a Certain Age," hadn't been picked up yet, and he could do stand-up at the next TNT upfront presentation. "I'll have nowhere else to go," he said.
