In the wake of potential 2012 GOP nominee Tim Pawlenty's non-announcement statement "I'm running for President" on "Piers Morgan Tonight" earlier this week, Comedy Central's Stephen Colbert had some fun with the situation. Colbert said what Pawlenty told Piers Morgan was a "warning to other candidates."
"Declaring your candidacy for President is supposed to be special," he said. "You only get to do it once. So you want to wait for that perfect journalist to share it with." And...so on. Check out the full segment here.
Following Simon Cowell's much talked about, revealing interview with Piers Morgan earlier this week, Jimmy Kimmel spent some time during his monologue last night to sum up the hour.
