The potential winnings, currently at 586 million dollars, could rise quickly if there is no winner Tuesday. And with Christmas roughly a week away, the Mega Millions Jackpot could reach the billion dollar mark.

“It only takes one dollar to get in the game," explained Paula Otto, the Executive Director of the Virginia Lottery. "And, you only need one ticket to win – the one with the right six numbers.”

Frank Taaffe on George Zimmerman's gun affinity: "Boys will have their toys"

With George Zimmerman having recently been thrust back into the national spotlight, on Wednesday evening "Piers Morgan Live" asked his former neighbor and Watch Block Captain Frank Taaffe to join the program with some insight on the 30-year-old Florida man.

Earlier this week, the man best known for fatally shooting Trayvon Martin in February of 2012 was arrested following a domestic dispute with girlfriend. Piers Morgan, however, wondered why a man suffering from PTSD might surround himself with guns. Taaffe's response quickly sent the interview careening in a wild direction:

"Well, boys will have their toys, as they say," said the guest in a rather flippant manner.

On a delay due to the fact that Taaffe was joining via satellite, Morgan could barely believe his ears once the words filtered in:
