Kim Goldman on the Zimmeran Trial: "I don't believe this was racially charged"

With the recently reached "not guilty" verdict in the polarizing George Zimmerman case still being debated across the nation, this evening Piers Morgan invites Kim Goldman to join him with unique perspective and candid insight on captivating legal cases.

The sister of the late Ron Goldman, Kim's experience going through the infamous O.J. Simpson trial has lead her to become an ardent victim’s rights activist. Nearly two decades since what was then known as the "trial of the century," tonight Goldman reflects on a new century, and the new trial that has grabbed nearly as many headlines.

Comparing her brother's case to the George Zimmerman trial, this evening's guest allows that both have sparked a heated national debate, in particular with regard to race. However, in her mind, the comparison is unfair: FULL POST

Tonight at 9: Mark O'Mara in an exclusive interview

On a day which has seen the defense call its first witness in the George Zimmerman trial, this evening attorney Mark O'Mara returns to "Piers Morgan Live" to share his expertise and insight as part of a primetime, exclusive interview.

No stranger to the program, O'Mara has visited nearly ten times since signing on to represent Zimmerman in April of 2012, as past appearances have seen him offer perspective on everything from his client's noticeable weight gain, to the arduous task of financing defense efforts.

Meanwhile, as O'Mara and the rest of the Zimmerman camp take center stage now with the prosecution having rested its case late last week, tonight Piers Morgan invites a collection of legal experts to offer their reactions to the most-recent proceedings.

Tune in this evening at 9 as Judge Alex Ferrer and attorneys Jayne Weintraub and Alan Dershowitz detail the latest events, while Michael Higginbotham places the topic of race into context on the backdrop of one of the most-polarizing trials in recent American history.

Piers Morgan and the "Daily Mail": Pining for Paris, sympathizing with Harry Connick Jr., and remembering James Gandolfini

In inviting long lost love Paris Hilton to join him on his primetime CNN program, Piers Morgan couldn't help but attempt to rekindle an old flame. Having been previously married as part of an ITV documentary about Las Vegas, the "Piers Morgan Live" host knew the nuptials were a sham. But the chemistry was so real, one wonders if the actual sham was not tying the knot for real.

In penning his most recent Daily Mail entry, which he's slyly titled “I quite fancy a bit of Paris Hilton’s $1.5 billion pie,” Morgan rehashed some of his most memorable moments from his past weeks in Los Angeles, including his face to face interview with the aforementioned heiress.

Hilton had her own agenda for coming together that fateful Tuesday night, joining the program to discuss her recent and impressive business achievements. Morgan though, was seeking to collect evidence for a potential alimony suit: FULL POST

Tonight at 9: Joel Osteen, the George Zimmerman trial, "Gone to Pot," and Dr. Drew

Having visited with the host on multiple occasions in the past, pastor Joel Osteen is no stranger to “Piers Morgan Live.”

However, technically, the best-selling author has never before been "In The Chair." All that changes Tuesday evening, as the televangelist returns to the program, this time joining Piers Morgan for the program's signature interview segment. On hand over the weekend as daredevil tightrope-walker Nik Wallenda walked a quarter mile high above the Grand Canyon, Osteen will share his perspective on the power of prayer, and the ways in which Wallenda's walk mirrors life's many challenges.

In addition to his relationship with Wallenda, the pastor of Houston's Lakewood Church will share his thoughts on the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela, the former South African President who has recently fallen ill.

Openly spiritual and positive, during a recent interview on "Piers Morgan Live," Osteen frowned up political attack ads, admitting to be disappointed in their apparent effectiveness.

Also tonight, the host welcomes defense lawyer Thomas Mesereau, professor and author Michael Higginbotham, and attorney Gloria Allred, as the trio will touch upon the ongoing Michael Jackson and George Zimmerman trials, as well as the United States' ongoing attempt to extradite Edward Snowden.

Meanwhile, this evening the program will continue with its "Gone To Pot" franchise, welcoming Patrick Kennedy, Kevin Sabet, and Neill Franklin to discuss the ongoing interest in the medicinal values and legalization of marijuana.

And, tune in at 9 as Dr. Drew joins the program tonight for a live, primetime interview.

Tonight at 9: "Pot Moms" tell all

As part of a special "Piers Morgan Live" entitled "Gone to Pot: America's Marijuana Obsession," tonight Piers Morgan welcomes Cheryl Shuman, January Thomas, Amie Machado and Glenda Gurrlen, collectively called the "Pot Moms," to talk about their experience with cannabis and why they choose the drug over many others.

“Marijuana is the slang name and cannabis is actually the true scientific name... It deserves some respect,” declares Shumam, known as the "Martha Stewart of Marijuana." “The bottom line is cannabis is here to stay, the toothpaste is out of the tube,” says Shuman, the creator of the Beverly Hills Cannabis Club.

Shuman and Machado both turned to marijuana for health concerns, but their introduction to the drug inspired them to build successful businesses within the industry. FULL POST
